This is Easter week as we all know. I plan on a rather large meal on Sunday. So, for the most part this week I will be simple and really cheap! Because of $50.00 stolen out of my husbands wallet Saturday at work.. It has put a damper on things. Our grocery money just isn't there. We will be eating on what we have in our pantry except for our Easter dinner which I am still keeping the same as I had planned.
MONDAY-chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, fruit
TUESDAY-venison and noodles, steamed asparagus
WEDNESDAY-Baked potatoes(loaded with whatever you like), tossed salad
THURSDAY-kraft mac and cheese, salmon patties
FRIDAY-(breakfast for supper) blueberry pancakes, sausage
SATURDAY-ravioli, garlic bread
EASTER- Ham, scalloped potatoes, greenbean cassarole, pea salad, dinner rolls, deviled eggs, relish tray of pickled beets, cheese, olives, and angel lush cake for dessert
So sorry to hear about your husband's unfortunate incident..that is just plain horrible.
ReplyDeleteYour Easter dinner sounds yummy! What on earth is angel lush cake?
:)
Angel Lush cake is basically an angel food cake with a filling in between cosisting of crushed pineapple, coolwhip, vanilla instant pudding. I decorate it with some sliced fresh strawberries or maybe blueberries. but, you don't have to. It is very good.
